**Artificial Intelligence (AI): Foundational Knowledge and Practical Uses of AI**

We will dig into core concepts related to AI and examine the capabilities, limitations, and outputs of AI tools. With the end goal of creating efficiencies and streamlining day-to-day tasks, we will study closely use-cases and responsible practices.

**OBJECTIVES**

- Understand core concepts of and between Traditional AI and Generative AI
- Apply effective prompting using prompt engineering principles
- Gain different AI tools to enhance productivity
- Examine and evaluate AI outputs
- Learn what it means and how to practice responsible AI

**DETAILS**

**Date: **Monday, May 12, 2026

**Time: **8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

**Location:** CESA 6, Oshkosh

**Cost: **$125 per person

Alternative payment methods may be approved under the following circumstances:

- Registration fees exceed $1,000
- A specific funding source is being used (e.g., Title funds)
- Your school district requires use of an internal payment process
