Questions? Please contact Amy Ruppert, Program Assistant at aruppert@cesa6.org.
This workshop series explores how to use intentional questioning techniques to deepen student understanding and engagement while strengthening language development across content areas. Participants will identify practical strategies to monitor student language use and comprehension during instruction, analyze tasks to ensure they offer meaningful opportunities for language growth, and align language comprehension routines across ELA, science, and social studies. We will also focus on scaffolding supports for multilingual learners and students with language-based learning needs, and on aligning language comprehension strategies to current curricular resources for cohesive, high-impact instruction.
