Join this workshop series to create a customized step-by-step MLSS handbook. Together, we will create structured protocols for Tier 1 screening data, Tiered data meeting Tier 3 exit and monitoring processes, and clear entrance, exit, and transition criteria aligned across tiers. We will explore supports including Personal Reading Plans as part of the MLSS process as well as decision-making questions to support consistency. Participants will receive a fillable workbook for real-time planning and reflection as well as ready-to-use tools such as data meeting agendas, transition planning tools, and caregiver communication guiding questions.
OBJECTIVES
Create a defined MLSS process outlined in a district handbook from a template designed especially for district planning
Develop increased clarity and confidence in the MLSS process
Reduce confusion and inconsistency across classrooms and schools
Develop strong alignment between vision, instruction, intervention, and data use
Learn to design more efficient and focused data meetings
Develop guidelines for clear expectations for staff
Take action steps to develop and define your process and spend less time debating “what to do next”
