The path to proficiency starts long before the screener. This comprehensive professional learning experience, designed for our earliest learners in 4K, focuses on strengthening early literacy instruction through intentional letter learning cycles that support success on literacy screeners. Over the course of three in-person learning days and one personalized coaching day, participants will engage in high-leverage routines and strategies that foster strong letter-sound correspondence, accelerate letter learning, and build foundational skills measured on statewide literacy screeners in 4K and 5K.

OBJECTIVES

• Have a clear, actionable plan for implementation of structured letter learning that is responsive to student data.
• Integrate local resources that bridges 4K to 5K,
• Identify local proficiencies for 4K letter learning,
• Support both effective early literacy development and improved literacy screener outcomes.

• Dates:
• Day 1-November 6, 2026;
• Day 2-January 13, 2027;
• Day 3-March 12, 2027

*Each district will also receive one in-district coaching day

• Times: 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
• Location: CESA 6, Oshkosh
• Cost: $1,925 per participant (Participants are required to have a hardcopy ($69) or digital download ($49) of the High-Leverage Literacy Routines Toolkit: Starting Strong in 4K.)

CESA 6 accepts credit card payments for all event registrations. If you are unable to complete your registration using a credit card, please contact events@cesa6.org for assistance with alternative arrangements.

Please note if an alternative payment is needed, a purchase order must be received before your registration can be confirmed. All registrations must be finalized before the event date.

Alternative payment methods may be approved under the following circumstances:

• Registration fees exceed $1,000
• A specific funding source is being used (e.g., Title funds)
• Your school district requires use of an internal payment process
