This administrative-focused series is designed to equip building and district level administrators with the essential knowledge, skills, and resources to contribute to and/or lead TIG and Crisis Response work within their buildings and districts.

The content during this 2-day event will be streamlined and geared to preparing such leaders to inform their decisions and guide their approaches from a comprehensive evidence-based, best practice oriented foundation increasing competence and confidence in this important work. Non-administrative staff who will be in the position of leading crisis teams in the coming school year are also welcome and encouraged to attend.

Special attention is given to the most common pitfalls, (those that pose the most threat to school personnel from a liability standpoint) associated with crisis response activities.

Major components of crisis management
Specific goals of crisis intervention and crisis management
The CISM framework and specific intervention techniques that can easily be applied within the school setting.

Protocol used for large incidents
Respond to and manage a large-scale incident

Please note that an alternative payment method or purchase order must be received before your registration can be confirmed. All registrations must be finalized before the event date.

Alternative payment methods may be approved under the following circumstances:

Registration fees exceed $1,000
A specific funding source is being used (e.g., Title funds)
Your school district requires use of an internal payment process
